Great discussion this week, everybody, and thanks to Kat for the snack deliciosity.

Next week, Oct. 7, in lieu of regular small group we'll be having the first of what we expect to be monthly "big group" get-togethers, a potluck dinner at the church with the West 15/501ers (led by Brian and Morgan). Everyone in our small group is supposed to bring a main dish, and the other small group is responsible for appetizers and desserts.

Invite anyone you want -- there will be plenty of food and it's going to be really laidback and casual. This would be an ideal time to invite people who might be interested in joining our group but want to kind of feel it out before coming to a regular small group meeting.

Sandhills Presbyterian is at 650 Pee Dee Road in Southern Pines (corner of Pee Dee and Highway 22).

The following week, Oct. 14, we'll be back to normal with a 7 p.m. meeting at our house. We'll be studying Romans 1:18-32; click here for the discussion questions.

Hi, small group friends! It's true, I'll accept any excuse to create a new blog. We'll keep this site current with handouts, announcements, supplementary materials and more. If anyone has suggestions for online resources that might be useful to the group, send them to me and I'll add them to the sidebar.

If anyone wants to order "A Praying Life" through Drew (free shipping), bring $10 to church on Sunday or small group next week. It's not at all required but if several of us end up reading it on our own, we may incorporate some of the principles into our group prayer time.

NEXT WEEK
When and where: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 7 p.m., Matt and Jenn's house

Snacks: Kat

Before we meet: If you have a chance, read all of Romans so we have some perspective on the book as a whole before we start breaking it down. We will study Romans 1:1-17 next week so pay particular attention to that section. Click here for next week's discussion questions.

P.S. Got better blog title ideas? Bring them on!
